Hülya Keser Piano Outstanding Educator Award

Hülya Keser won several prices including the Svetoslav Obretenov Piano Competition (B), the Sophia Piano Competion (B), the “UNICEF Festival” in The Hague (NL), the “De Doelen Concours” (NL) and as a piano-trombone duo the “Prinses Christina Concours” and the best of five from the Prinses Christina Concours as well.
She has also participated in Master Classes held by i.a. Hüseyin Sermet, Hans-Peter and Volker Stenzl.

As a solo/duo pianist and in various chamber music formations as i.a. Keser Ensemble, Troika trio, Ensemble Nieuw Klassiek (formerly named Rotterdam Chamber Esemble), she gives and has given a wide variety of concerts in i.a. Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Cuba, Denmark, Germany, Finland,
Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Russia, South Korea, Thailand, The Netherlands, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, Sweden, Switzerland.

She played with i.a. with Candida Thompson, Raf De Keninck, Pei Pei Zhu, Nizan Laster, the Ayur trio with Adelina Hasani and Paul Uyterlinde, Sevinç Keser, Şefıka Kutluer, Özcan Ulucan,
Jan Jansen, Julia Dinerstein, Mikhail Zemstov.

Concerts & upcoming concerts are with i.a. Amsterdam Sinfonietta, the famous Alma Quartet – members of the Royal Concert Hall Orchestra, Candida Thompson, Raf De Keninck, Nitzan Laster and Pei Pei Zhu. Further new projects are planned with “Hülya Keser & Friends”, i.a. the Chamber Music Festival “AYıldız”, concert tours as
“Hidden Roads – Silk Touches” and recordings.

1986

Hülya Keser began her piano studies at the age of six with Nadya Slavcheva, gave her first concert and was admitted in 1986 at the Russe Music School (B) by Diana Boteva.

1989

From 1989-1997 she continued her education at the Mimar Sinan Conservatory in Istanbul (T) with Prof. Hülya Tarcan, and at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts in Bilkent University in Ankara (T) with Prof. Ersin Onay and Prof. Namik Sultanoff.

1997

She continued her studies during 1997-2001 at the Rotterdam Conservatory (NL) with Prof. Aquilles Delle-Vigne supported by the Turkish Ministery of the Culture and Dr. Nejat F. Eczacıbaşı of the Foundation Music Scholarship and where she received her Solo Performance Diploma.

2004

In 2004 she successfully finished her Piano Performance and Chamber Music studies Cum Laude, at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Tilburg (NL) with Prof. Jan Gruithuyzen. During her studies she also joined several Master Classes with famous solo pianists, held by i.a. Hüseyin Sermet, Hans-Peter and Volker Stenzl.

2017

Since 2004 she has been teaching piano, correpetition and Chamber music at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Tilburg, where she became in september 2017 Professor Hülya Keser.

2011

In 2011 she formed the “AYUR trio”, with which she has given several concerts and recorded the CD’s “Transformations” and “Ayur” with works by i.a. I. Baran, J. Brahms, P. Tchaikovsky, F. Say, G. Altay, A. Piazzolla.

2014

In 2014 she started her own Piano Academy in The Hague.
